Safety first. Always.
Protecting the health and safety of our employees, clients, contractors, the general public, and the environment is central to everything we do at TMC Environmental. There is no service or job so urgent that we cannot take the time to complete it safely.
Before a project begins, we develop a site-specific health and safety plan to reduce risk, protect property, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Then we assign a multidisciplinary team that includes experts on each and every aspect of the job.
As work progresses, site supervisors conduct toolbox safety meetings to make sure that our standards, procedures, and equipment are maintained at the highest level possible.
Continuous improvement
Our commitment to safety is reflected in our comprehensive training programs. We work with all our employees to constantly improve their ability to recognize hazards, reduce risks, and improve their safety performance.
Everyone at TMC Environmental – from our CEO to people in the field – participates in required classroom and on-the-job training. Each of our field employees holds certifications in First Aid/CPR, OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations Training, Job Hazard Training, and Confined Space Entry/Rescue Training.
These specialists also take part in job-specific training, including advanced instruction on asbestos and lead abatement; boat and boom safety; and OSHA, FEMA, LPS, and API regulations and standards.
